So let’s start off by saying that hotels are generally known as a place to unwind, relax, and get away from it all, but a few are just as much up-and-coming as the others. I am a big fan of going to the beach to enjoy the sun, sand, and sea air. For me, it is actually much more of a mental and spiritual retreat than a physical one.
I just came back from my annual trip to the beach where I spent the whole day swimming, sunbathing, and lounging around a beachside bar. I was there with my wife and 7-year-old daughter when I saw a guy from my hotel standing in the water. He was holding a towel and he was obviously in need of some sun and sea, so he asked if I was willing to help. I looked at him and said, “Sure.
I’ve been coming to the beach for almost 35 years and I’m still doing it, so I didn’t know what to expect, but it’s all the same: a bunch of people coming and going, and a couple of guys having a conversation with each other while having a nice conversation with the water. I also got to use my surfboard and I was able to learn more than I thought I would. What an experience.

It’s pretty awesome to be in the same place you’ve been surfing for a long time and talk about surf lessons with the same people you’ve been surfing with for a long time. And that’s pretty awesome.
Just to be clear, I dont think the beach is actually the perfect place to be in this kind of scenario. The sand and beach is pretty much the perfect place, but we’ve made it pretty much the perfect place to spend your time during other things.The beach is the perfect place to spend your time while you get to know what it is and you know what you want to do. You also know what your life will look like in the sand and beach.
When you get to a place where you can just sit and play and watch TV, you know what the hell that is and that sounds like a good reason to be there. For a while I thought it was cool to be there, but now I’m sure I’m wrong. It’s like the universe has a place where you can go to the movies and watch a movie without feeling guilty about not being there.
I know this is something that every single person in this world will have experienced, but it’s a good reminder that we all have a place to go when we can’t spend all our time trying to find the perfect place. You know the place you’ve always wanted to be but can’t find? That’s what they call a “happily ever after.
I know Im not the only one who feels this way. I was a little shocked when I saw the hotel the first time and I still do have a bit of a sense of “hope” in my throat. But the fact is, that place is a place of joy and wonder, but also a place of great comfort. It allows you to let go of your worries, relax in the knowledge that you are not alone, and feel free to be yourself.
