This is the first year I’ve written about a casino. It’s the first time my column has been written about a casino. It’s an exciting time to be taking up the mantle of my writing. My publisher has agreed to pay me the amount I’ve been writing for the last two years.
Ive learned that casinos don’t have the same rules or laws that you might expect. Unlike most casinos, the laws of Vegas are much more relaxed, allowing for prostitution as long as it’s consensual. The best part, however, is that the best slots always have the highest jackpots.
I love the casinos, and I loved writing about them, so this new column is a nice little tribute. But I also want to clarify that I’m not opposed to casinos. I’m not against the type of gambling that exists in casinos. I’m against the idea of casinos being a safe investment. That being said, I’m most definitely willing to write about the casinos that people are interested in reading about.
I will admit that sometimes I wonder if gambling is the best investment since people who can’t afford casinos are forced to play the slots and have to spend their money on alcohol. But that doesn’t mean I can’t write about the casinos that are doing great things.
It’s not the only place in casino land to do what they’re doing. Every casino has its own unique and interesting offerings. Some casinos have the most elaborate slot machines, others have the most lucrative craps tables. Some of the casinos have the most progressive games, others have the most progressive slots. Most are gambling on the blackjack craps, but there are some casinos that focus on the big numbers games.
